IND v ENG 5th ODI Result, Photos - India crushed England by 5-0, Jadeja MOM, Dhoni MOS


India completed the whitewash and took the revenge from England when they lost in England by 5-0, by winning the 5th and final one day by 95 runs with 78 balls remaining on Tuesday, 25th October, 2011 and gives a perfect Diwali gift at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. IND made 271/8 in 15 overs and ENG all out on 176 runs in 37 overs.

India got a good start by Gambhir 38 runs and Rahane 42 runs with 80 runs but soon reduced 3-80. Dhoni played a brilliant inning of 75 unbeaten runs off 69 balls, first put 40 runs with Raina and then 44 runs with Jadeja to put a competitive total of 271 runs. England then got a great start by Cook 60 and Kieswetter 63 runs with 29 runs in 20 runs for the 1st wicket but the collapsed and lost all 10 wickets for 47 runs in 100 balls thanks to tight bowling by Jadeja 4-33 and Ashwn 3-28.

Ravinder Jadeja got Man of Match for his 4 wickets while MS Dhoni got Man of the Series for his unbeaten 212 runs, as he remains unbeaten in the entire series.

In a high scoring thriller host India beat England by 5 wickets with 4 balls remaining and won the 5 match series by 3-0 on Thursday, 20th October, 2011 at Mohali, Chandigarh. ENG made 298/4 in 50 overs and IND made 300/5 in 49.2 overs.

England put heir best effort with the bat and made a huge total of 298 runs thanks to Trott 98 runs and Samit Patel 70* runs and put 141 runs for the 3rd wicket while Pietersen also contributed with 58 runs. India thengot a good start by Parthiv 38 runs and Rahane 91 runs who put 111 runs with Gambhir 65 runs. Dhoni 35* and Jadeja 26* runs put 65 runs in less than 8 overs to set a thrilling win.

India registered a huge win over visitor England as they beat them by 8 wickets and 80 balls remaining in the 2nd one day on Monday, 17th October, 2011 at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. ENG all out on 237 runs in 48.2 overs and IND made 238/2 in 36.4 overs.

England lost early wickets and reduced to 0-2 but Pietersen 46, Trott 34, Bopara 36, Bairstow 35 and Patel 42 took them to 237 runs as Vinay kumar took career best 30-4. India also then lost early wickets but Gambhir 84 not out off 90 balls and Virat Kohli hit a brilliant unbeaten century with 112 runs off just 98 balls with 16 fours and put a new record with 209 unbroken partnership for 3rd wicket.
