IND v ENG 2nd ODI Result, Photos - India won by 8 wickets, Kohli hit Century


India registered a huge win over visitor England as they beat them by 8 wickets and 80 balls remaining in the 2nd one day on Monday, 17th October, 2011 at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. ENG all out on 237 runs in 48.2 overs and IND made 238/2 in 36.4 overs.

England lost early wickets and reduced to 0-2 but Pietersen 46, Trott 34, Bopara 36, Bairstow 35 and Patel 42 took them to 237 runs as Vinay kumar took career best 30-4. India also then lost early wickets but Gambhir 84 not out off 90 balls and Virat Kohli hit a brilliant unbeaten century with 112 runs off just 98 balls with 16 fours and put a new record with 209 unbroken partnership for 3rd wicket.
